Story:
"Girl Meets World" picks up where "Boy Meets World" left off. Riley Mathews (Rowan Blanchard), the 11-year-old daughter of Cory Matthews and Topanga Matthews who married on the original series, tells the story from her point of view. Riley attends a school where hew father is also one of her teachers, and her brother Elliot (To Be Cast) is one grade above her - and often reminds her that he is also one grade higher in life's experiences. If opposites attract, then Riley's relationship with her best friend Maya is a perfect example. Riley is a happy, optimistic, cheery, and high spirited 13 year old girl with great parents - while Maya is a not-so-trusting pessimistic girl who has never met her father. Regardless, the two are immensely loyal to each other as friends. Thirteen-year-old Elliot is good looking, well built, funny and insightful in his observations. Starts the series as a thinking man's jock. He has a funny and cocky attitude, particularly when dealing with his younger sister Riley. Good hearted, except for his dedication toward using Riley as his wrestling practice dummy. Twelve-year-old Tristan Friar (To Be Cast, any ethnicity) is a handsome cowboy in the city, recently arrived from Austin, Texas. He seems actually possessed of ethics, common sense, and a value system making him immediately alien to everybody else except Riley, who believes it's the value system that attracts her to want to be his friend even though he's too incredibly good looking for her to look at. Twelve-year old Shamus Farkle (To Be Cast, any ethnicity) is a character kid, genius, and future world ruler. Maya is his nemesis, but Riley gets between them to save his life. Farkle is wildly attached and protective of both girls.
