Disney casting directors auditioning for ‘Off The Island’

Disney casting directors have sent out casting calls for a new Disney Channel Original Movie called Off The Island.

Auditions are underway for starring roles. Shooting will take place from May 26, 2014 through July 15, 2014 in Vancouver. The main roles will be cast in Los Angeles, with additional casting for smaller speaking roles and extras in Vancouver, British Columbia. Disney casting directors are also auditioning actors for another TV movie called Descendents, which will also be shooting in Vancouver.

The movie is set in an alternate world, where a group of juvenile delinquents are invited to enroll in an exclusive boarding school as part of a pilot program to integrate them into civilized society. The teens first impulse is to wreak havoc, but they soon find themselves forging new friendships, developing crushes on the “good” kids, and realizing they’ve got some good in them too.
