Disney Channel casting new series 'Buddyslam' starring roles

Disney Channel is now setting up auditions for starring and co-starring roles in the new multi-camera comedy series pilot "Buddyslam". Roles being cast include two 12-year-old boys, and their adult counterparts. Shooting will begin in early-July, 2016 at the Hollywood Center Studios in Los Angeles. To be considered, ALL talent must have legal eligibility to work on television productions and in Los Angeles, those details are posted below.

"Buddyslam" centers on Harry Brewster, who is a good kid, he just has a bit of a temper problem. To curb his anger, Harry partakes in his favorite pastime with his best friend Troy: wrestling. When the boys accidentally consume a beverage given to them by Harry's anger management counselor George, they become 6 feet tall grown ups, bursting with muscle whenever they get angry. Filling in for George at the Slamarama wrestling event, Harry and Troy are about to enter a whole new world of adventure and danger.

"Buddyslam" comes from the Co-Executive Producer of the hit Disney XD series "Lab Rats", Ron Rappaport, who will serve as Executive Producer and Writer. Greg Schaffer will produce. Production company is It's a Laugh Productions, which has been behind such Disney Channel hit shows as "Hannah Montana", Jonas", "The Suite Life on Deck", "Wizards of Waverly Place", "Good Luck Charlie", "Liv and Maddie", and "Girl Meets World" among many others.
