Aspiring stars now have the chance to compete in a My Camp Rock 2 Talent Contest that is taking place in various countries and cities around the world. The next auditions are in Australia and New Zealand.
'My Camp Rock 2 Talent Contest' Australia and New Zealand Details
The contest is open to citizens and permanent residents of Australia and New Zealand who are between the ages of 10 and 18 years at the time of entry. Entries are being accepted between 12 July 2010 and 3 August 2010. To be considered, entrants must send in a video of themselves singing, performing, and dancing to one of three specific Camp Rock 2 original soundtrack songs. Disney Channel will select 10 of the submitted videos as the winning entries. Entries will be judged based on "overall presentation, singing ability, dancing ability, originality and creativity".
These winning ten entries will be divided into two teams and each team will then take part in a Music Camp hosted by Disney Channel. The Camp will be held over the course of four nights and three days in Sydney, Australia. While at My Camp Rock 2 Music Camp, participants will be coached by the top vocal coaches and choreographers. The Camp attendees will also star in a television series that will be screened on Disney Channel in September, 2010.
Disney will be filming the 2 teams rehearsing, performing and competing throughout the duration of the Camp and post the film clips on a website for online voting by the public. Disney will announce the voting dates that will take place over the course of 1 week. The winning team will shoot a music video of their winning Camp song, and the video will be featured on Disney Channel Australia and Disney Channel New Zealand.

• Download the My Camp Rock 2 Contest Form and sign it. Have a parent or legal guardian complete the form and sign it if you are under 18 years of age. The completed and signed Release Form must be sent in along with your audition video, or attached as a PDF, JPG, or Word DOC to your video upload.
