Disney Channel new short segment TV series casting Boy and Girl hosts

*** These roles have been cast ***

7ate9 Entertainment casting director David Glasgal is currently accepting headshots and resumes from boys and girls to host brand new short form segments for Disney Channel. The segments will begin taping in April, 2011.

The show will be similar in format to the popular "Disney's Really Short Report," which was a mini-show that ran on the Disney Channel from January 23, 2007 – January 23, 2009. It featured a newsdesk-like atmosphere, utilizing three young actors who reviewed Disney Channel stars, movies, programs, and DVD's. The segments were approximately 2 minutes in length and aired during commercial breaks and in between Disney programs.

Here is what the casting director and producers are currently seeking:

• Males, any ethnicity, roughly 9 - 15 years of age in appearance. Full of life, polished, upbeat, with a great sense of humor. Also should be resourceful with special standout talents. Since this is for a job hosting a show, talent should be very gregarious and hip to things that are all the rage from tunes to smart phone apps to popular online activities.

• Females, any ethnicity, roughly 9 - 15 years of age in appearance. Full of life, polished, upbeat, with a great sense of humor. Also should be resourceful with special standout talents. Since this is for a job hosting a show, talent should be very gregarious and hip to things that are all the rage from tunes to fashion to the latest tech trends for kids..
